Texas Teen with Autism is a "Musical Genius"

15-year-old Nathan Pustka has a remarkable musical ability. He can listen to any song, and immediately be able to play it on the piano. Of Nathan's talent, local high school music teacher Julia Hansen says, "the fascinating thing about Nathan is we really don't know what the limit is. Teen with Autism to Carry Olympic Torch

13-year-old Mackenzie Allan recently earned the honor of being selected to carry the Olympic torch. He will carry the torch for a portion of time in the relay leading up to the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada. Mackenzie's father nominated him for the torch relay, and his parents are very proud that he was chosen. According to Mackenzie, he feels "pretty good, happy and excited" about participating in the relay. Click here to read the complete article.


High School Senior with Autism is Football Team's Hardest Working Player

According to his team, Marcel Green the first player in uniform ready for each game, the first to volunteer to help move equipment, and one of the most supportive players during the game. Green initially joined the athletic program to "get in shape for college," he says, be he has become an important part of the team. Teammate Tony Lippett says, "He is the spirit of the team." Green's other talents include music. He also has a 3.0 grade point average, and hope to go to college after graduation. Click here to read the complete article.
