High School Student with Autism Plays on School Basketball Team Ashley Homan, a high-school freshman with Autism has earned a spot on her school's basketball team. Ashley participated in school sports in both fifth and sixth grade before trying out for her high school's team. She reports that her favorite basketball memory was a recent game when she scored her first two points. Her coach has stated that, "She's made tremendous progress and has a love for basketball."
