CNN Manager Learns She Has Asperger's Syndrome At the age of 48, after a work assignment required her to research autism, a CNN manager discovered that she has Asperger's Syndrome. After the diagnosis, she was relieved to find an explanation for her, as she called it, "otherness." She reports that, although she has some sensory and social difficulties, she still focuses on the positive aspects of her life. She says, "If you could live in my head for just one day, you might weep at how much beauty I perceive in the world with my exquisite senses.
