About Autism North Texas As a teacher, I am always interested in increasing my teaching knowledge by attending conferences, meetings, and workshops. Since I teach students with autism, this was my primary interest. However, it seemed that I would always hear about a great conference or meeting AFTER it was over. I was unable to find a comprehensive list of these type of events for the Dallas/Fort Worth area. So, I decided to start one. Each week, I search the websites of organizations such as local autism support groups, colleges and universities, and the Texas Education Agency for their upcoming events. The events I find will be listed here, all in one easy place for parents, teachers, service providers, and individuals with autism to access. Thanks so much for visiting!
