"I firmly believe that the only disability in life is a bad attitude." - Scott Hamilton

"Buddy Can!" ~ Buddy's First Book

"Buddy Can," the first book in the series, is designed for preschool and early childhood settings. The book was written to be a positive book about disability, inspiring children to understanding and friendship, rather than pity and fear. Another goal is to show that disability should not prevent someone from being included and experiencing life. The book can be used in special education classes, general education classes, and to read at home with your children.

How to Assemble the Book:
  1. Print the book using single-sided printing.
  2. Cut along the dotted line to separate the pages. (I like to use scissors with textured blades, to make the book look more fun. An example is below.)
  3. The pages will print in order, but the pages are not numbered, so check the order before you staple or attach the pages.
  4. Laminate the pages, if desired.
  5. Staple or attach the pages together in the method of your choosing.
