"Buddy Can," the first book in the series, is designed for preschool and early childhood settings. The book was written to be a positive book about disability, inspiring children to understanding and friendship, rather than pity and fear. Another goal is to show that disability should not prevent someone from being included and experiencing life. The book can be used in special education classes, general education classes, and to read at home with your children.
