I typically use a themed unit with my students for about two weeks to ensure that there is enough depth and repetition to ensure learning.

Note about the book: If your child will be reading this book at school, you can use some of the activities below at home before the book is read in class.
This strategy is known as priming, and is often helpful for students with autism.
